Bread!

The bread project is now a continuing success! I have created bread that looks, smells, and tastes like bread, and I believe that I will be able to duplicate my results. The next step will be figuring out how to make a chewier crust. It's good for a fifth try, but for french bread, it's still a long way off. Someday, I hope to get as good at this as I am with pancakes and mashed potatoes. By the time I hit retirement age, I should be good and ready to cook for other people. (I also managed to cook fish correctly today, though I don't think I can duplicate those results yet. Fish and I have a rocky relationship sometimes.)

Sure! It's taken me some tries, but I think I'm getting it and the water really does work.

I have never made bagels. Tell me how it works out! I totally want to try now, too. I keep meaning to and never do.

My neighbors must think I'm so strange. I'm always sitting in here laughing when no one else is around. But oh man... I remember reading about them working on that movie and being very angry at someone who implied in their part of the interview that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle didn't have the technology to write action scenes into his books. And it looks just as ridiculous as the interview made me imagine. I'm definitely going to have to go see it. I hope I can manage not to giggle and laugh too much at it... If the trailer is any indication, maybe I should wait until it's at the second-run theatre.

I dunno, I'm really excited. It just looks so ridiculous and kind of badass, I'm just... yeah. Excited. And it's RDJ being a whole new brand of ridiculous. So there's that. XD
