after one long season of waiting

I've finally got the pictures of Scav Hunt up (Now with magical annotations and explanations!)! At least, the ones that turned out okay. I think they're mostly self-explanatory, or at least, as much as they could be. And, save for the flaming bagel (which was powered by ethyl alcohol), they're all items. (I feel that I've done a slight wrong in editing out the porn from the porn on the Cobb but, um, it was nasty. And I didn't want to put that up in one of my galleries. If you're really curious, I believe it's one of the first hits in google image search for "double penetration". Safe search off, of course.)

I feel like there could've been a ton more pictures, but unfortunately I had to do a lot more bustling about and organizing than I'd strictly planned on doing. Between me and solitaryjane, I think we got most everything of note covered. The best part, though, are the videos I managed to get. One of the inside of our walk-in kaleidoscope (that weird thing with the two team members standing smugly in front of it), one of Snell-Hitchcock's performance of that song, you know, the one from the mosukau flash. I'm sure it has a proper name. And it was an item. I'm just too lazy to look it up. And a few others that just happened randomly, like one of our team members giving a spirited, if aurally scarring rendition of some poor country's anthem (the Phillipines, perhaps?), and some sort of battle between two people in black leather that was captured mostly because the whole room was shouting "Two men enter, one man leaves!" (it may have been one of the battles with Thor). If any of you guys want to see the videos, drop me and IM and I'll pass them along.

Ladies and gentlemen, friends, random passers-by... I bring to you the one sign that there are things right and good at the UofC: The 2006 Scav Hunt List. Which is beautiful this year. My only regret right now is that I'm too tired and busy to read the whole thing. And I wish I was on the road trip. Mutant presidents! Following the Mississippi south! Not to mention the Legends of the Hidden Temple item. And the statue to the Hero of Canton that needs to be built (and probably sung to).

My page requires the concoction of an evil plan to block out the sun for an entire city block (or more). That actually works. This is probably what I'll spend my weekend trying to figure out. Anyone have a ton of tarp? And a rocket?
