This is going to be another one of those short little bitter entries that have been becoming more and more common (hopefully this will be fixed when I get some time off over spring break). Right now I'm just insanely mad at this whole university and its stupid grading and its stupid ideas and academia in general (I thought seriously about transfering today, for the first time). I'm just sick of all the little ways this school screws you over. I am sick of the little ways that the TAs take points off for stupid, stupid things on papers. And how they all add up, and the total really makes no sense if you think about it, but obviously they didn't, so what are you going to do about it? (I'm going to try to get my Bio paper re-graded, that's what I'm going to do. I'm not very good at raising a fuss, but I might as well learn sometime. I'm not going to say what grade I got on it, because not only am I sorely, severely embarassed, it doesn't even make sense. So no). I also got my calc exam back today, that I thought I'd done so well on... but no, same grade as always. Gosh-freaking-darnit. Becada, methinks your horrible luck on Tuesdays is spreading to me.
At least I can be happy that there is not nearly as much interest in Xenosaga on this floor as there was in FFX. Only a few people stop by to criticize me, and there are more questions about the storyline (and why it's not FF). It's been fondly dubbed "Final Fantasy in Space With Robots." Everything is about robots in space. I just want the plot to get going so I can be properly engaged in the storyline. I have been playing for probably 6 hours now, and I haven't even met all the main characters. By six hours, I think I was already well into the plot of FF. Oh well, they told me it was a slow start. I have trust in Monolith, especially considering all the delightful little connections back to Xenogears. Great.
