Pffff. This reminds me that someday... someday I will own this shirt. Then I believe I will be able to converse with these people naturally as if I were one of them.

Ohio is pretty sticky stuff. I don't think I'll ever completely get rid of it, either. But I think the bits of it that stuck with me most evidently are ridiculous politeness and an inability to pronounce that awful AGH sound Chicagoans make in words with A's in them. Those are pretty okay traits, all things considered.
