I WANT TO BE WRITING FICTION!!

Goshdarnit, paper, write yourself. I'm tired of you. I've barely even written two pages of you, and I'm tired of you. At least my outline looks plausible now, though. In that it might get me to seven pages, and I can BS at least another page out of the intro and conclusion... plus quotes and references to criticism that largely has nothing to do with what I have to say. Yay.

Also, I'm going to need to name my new computer soon. Hopefully today, maybe tomorrow. So far names from Beowulf have been haunting me for some reason, but suggestions are always awesome. You know, in case you have a computer name that you haven't been able to use (so I don't name my computer Hrunting or Hrothgar or something).

I have yet to come up with a suitable name for my new laptop. It's difficult work!! My desktop is just called "Blue" which ... is hardly creative since he's blue. I'd hate to have to call my laptop "Whitey" as that might be misconstrued as something inappropriate (though Courtney did suggest calling it Hellbeast Cracker).

I think I'm going to have to get to know mine first. For all I know, he could turn out not to be a Hrunting at all, and be more of a... Begonia.

Hellbeast Cracker... well, that'd certainly make for an interesting name. Especially if anything at school happens to show off your comptuer name (I used to be secretly happy to see print jobs waiting for Topato in my dorm lobby).

(I was trying to come up with a joke about working on whitey, but I gave up.)
