All right. So, I still haven't heard officially from the undergraduate secretary-type person yet, but it looks like I'm going to be able to write my senior project this year so... yay. It's amazing how much of a difference that makes in my motivation to write right now. There are things in my margins again! Though, on the whole, I still feel slightly out of step with this quarter. Maybe next week... maybe when I have my computer again. I don't know. I'm kind of holding out hope the English department will find a way to throw an extra creative writing class together so I have a fourth class this quarter, because that'd be wonderful and I'd be insanely happy. (And it'd be with the few other people that were apparently thrown in the same boat with me. So, I guess I have to acknowledge that I'm not the only one the UofC is out to get... though the $13,000 bill this quarter was a bit below the belt. Thanks, UofC, for scaring the crap out of me and my mother by not applying a single bit of my financial aid and then blaming it on us for not turning in paperwork on time when, in fact, we got it back to you 8 days later when it told us we had a month. Rargh.)
Also, this means (especially if I don't have a fourth class), NaNo is totally gonna get attacked this year. And I'll actually finish, unlike last year when I got all pretentious and went "I should put more time into this idea" then didn't come up with anything else. Yay!
