So, I just sent a long plotless story about pirates written in the Pirate!Hughes speech-patterns (thankfully without the annoying accent, except in the dialog, of which there is little) to a published author and a group of 11 college students who have spent the quarter sharing relevant, sometimes poignant fiction about real life. My e-mail to them included two haiku. Sometimes, even I worry about the state of my own questionable sanity. I wonder if I'll run into a problem with them thinking I'm not writing seriously, just because I don't write about serious things. I suppose I'll find out.
Oh, and can anyone tell me why the journal update page automatically goes to rich text mode now? Because that's mighty annoying, and until goodness-knows-when, I don't have a computer I can download a client on. Why must you make my life harder than it has to be, livejournal?
Editness: Hello, lj settings page. You were hard to find. Who the heck thought it was a good idea to make the last-used input method the default when you can't switch back to plain-text from rich text? And then hide how you change it back? (I can't even remember how I found that now...) Silly LJ.

guess it's only out to get me. ::goes off to see if there's some magical setting that for some reason makes that the default::
