What a weird night... Our RA is leaving us (a massively depressing thing for everyone) because he can't really give the time he needs to being an RA because of all the other stuff he has going on (a 3rd year double-concentrator trying to graduate this year so he can go to London and act... freaking crazy, but in a very admirable way). So, after our emergency house meeting, everyone decided it would be a good idea to get drunk. Mixed drinks this time, not wine and beer as per usual. Probably about 60% of my floor was drunk, and nearly everyone was consuming alcohol. It was quite amusing, except for my friend that hadn't really drank before, and downed a half a glass of pina colada (very rummy, as it was one of the last batches) in a few minutes. I feel sort of bad, because if I had taken more in my glass she wouldn't have ended up so badly. Then again, that would have only served to get this one other guy on my floor drunker (or tipsier, as he kept insisting), since I passed mine off to him because it tasted disgusting (too much rum, yuck). He hit on me all night, so I suppose I got what I deserved. It was quite funny to see our small upright house president (which makes him sound too uptight.. he's pretty much just as insane as the rest of us) a bit tipsy too. Why do drunk people insist they're just tipsy when they are swaying back and forth? I imagine it will live on in house rumour that I was drunk too last night, since I frolicked through the hallways with the aforementioned guy, but I will maintain that I only had a sip of the pina colada, and I just get hyper when it's approaching 2 in the morning and I'm tired and being stalked by drunk people that happen to be very amusing. That sounds like a very bad excuse, but I'm standing by it. I only went to fetch the colada, I did not partake of it.
The real temptation I must resist is my debit card, which I finally got yesterday... There are those CDs I want to order, and the Gigantic DVD when it comes out... and posters that I need to decorate my walls (the insane post-its are all falling off). Then there's the plus of actually getting mail... very interesting mail. I can afford to spend $50 on myself, can't I? (No). Oh well. mwahahaha!
