The entire point of Soul Calibur III is the custom characters, just so you know...

Marie Curie = best Soul Calibur III character ever.

(Though Thoreau is also rather awesome.)

I'd like to note how frighteningly easy it is to get rather disturbingly accurate versions of Marie Curie and Thoreau in particular. Oscar Wilde's pretty close, too, except he looks sort of like what Johnny Depp's interpretation of him would be. (Oh, and our version of Nietzsche is mostly-dead and also rather goth.) The entire appeal of Plato lies in playing him with the soul of Talim, so he flies around doing flips and cuddles his weapons when he wins. And there's nothing quite like Mr Hilter with the soul of Lizardman picking Aristotle up with his teeth and throwing him.

(Obviously, I'm supposed to be writing a paper right now. Am I? Noooo.)
