Well crap, Canada. Where the heck am I going to flee to now? Do you have any idea how expensive it is for me to fly to Europe? And I don't know anyone there! Goshdarnit.
If I had any right to be talking about Canadian politics, I'd point to my government here and go "OH MY GOODNESS PEOPLE, CAN'T YOU SEE??? WE MADE THIS MISTAKE SO OTHER PEOPLE COULD LEARN!!"
... it seems I've done that anyway. But this whole immediately "repairing ties" with the US thing? BULL CRAP. RUN AWAY! Build a giant wall so our nonsense doesn't leak out! You should have done that the second we re-elected Bush. Apparently it's too late. Just hope your leaders don't decide to invoke rules that make sure none of the laws apply to them anymore. Sigh. This wouldn't make me nearly so sad if your future government wasn't now immediately linked to ours and friendly to it. I'm sorry.

On the other hand, at least your three-party system makes the election results look interesting. Though, in attempting to divide you into red and blue provinces (a tried and true American practice), I discovered that your liberals are coloured red (at least as far as the CBC is concerned. I assume that's standard). This proves that, obviously, you haven't been paying attention. And you've got two shades of blue. Tsk tsk. And I see no signs of recounts. You've got this election thing all wrong.
