As if I haven't been spamming my journal enough this weekend... [livejournal.com profile] chocolatemoose was evil and tagged me. Evil.

Ground Rules: The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 weird habits of yourself" and people who get tagged need to write an LJ entry about their 5 weird habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged.

1) For some reason, I will never look in a mirror right before I go to bed.
2) I still catch myself counting my steps when I'm running, or about to jump over something. (Old track habits die hard, I guess.)
3) When I'm feeling frustrated or don't know what to do with myself, I bake. (Which, of all the things I randomly do, probably makes the absolute least sense with my personality.)
4) I'm incredibly anal-retentive about tiny, inconsequential things, and fussing over them them makes me happy when it doesn't affect anyone else.
5) Around three in the morning, or when running on five hours of sleep or less, I become entranced by the variations in my own handwriting.

And... letsee... I shall tag [livejournal.com profile] sketchyheart, [livejournal.com profile] solitaryjane, [livejournal.com profile] jabberwockeyes, [livejournal.com profile] becada422, aaand [livejournal.com profile] llamaninja. (That's right, people new to my friends list, you've been spared from tagging.)

Oh, and since I was just reminded by it popping up on my playlist... does anyone know if Southern All Stars songs have been translated into Chinese? Because 彩 ~Aja~ just popped up on my playlist and it reminded me that last weekend when I was in the car with someone going up to Chinatown for the after-show banquet thing a song came on that sounded exactly like it... only most definitely in Chinese (Mandarin, I'd say, though I'm far from an expert when it's sung, having heard very little Cantonese). It was very, very surreal. But I couldn't say anything because... well, I couldn't even have told you the title of the song, nor did I really want to explain why I was comparing her CD to j-pop. But now I feel the need to confirm that I'm not just going nuts. I know it wouldn't be unprecedented, because one of my friends once tried to call me from Chinatown to let me listen to a Cantonese version of what was probably Ready Steady Go. It's a shame his phone sucked. Do they still count as covers if they cross languages?

On an even more random note... Guster and the Flaming Lips are coming out with new albums this April. Squee! I think, in the absense of new shows to watch, I default back to my obsessive music-stalking days. Which, on the whole, really aren't a bad thing to go back to at all. I've missed too many concerts lately.
