Huh. Teaches me to read my e-mail. Got up at 7-freaking-15 this morning to take my French final, when it turns out it doesn't start until 9:30! So tired! I only got like, five hours of sleep, this is bad. Grr.. I was really looking forward to this being over early, and taking a nap. I suppose I could still do that if I wanted, but it won't be as fun. Also, I need to do laundry. Badly. And waste another hour here without falling asleep. I knew I should've brought my laptop with me today.
Well, I finished the first half of my French final. It's been a walk back and forth from the Reynolds Club kind of day for me... I just wish it wasn't raining. It's that evil so-cold-it-should-be-snow kind of rain, too. Miserable! Now all I have to do is waste like, 20 minutes and walk back over to the other building to take my oral exam. I don't know what I could do to screw up the oral exam horribly, but let's hope I don't find out. Know what I did find out today? Coffee is the product of the DEVIL! Ghastly! Cappucino and all its coffee friends are just ghastly and disgusting. Ugh. I can't get that horrible acidic taste out of my mouth. Where is all the tea when I need my caffeine fix, eh? Where? The only good coffee is the sort in ice cream, and occasionally super-sugary coffee flavoured icy-drinks. Mmm, frozen coffee...
It's so weird to type in this lounge. Everything echos horribly (like every place else at this silly university), so I feel super-obligated to type softly. Which is a hard thing to accomplish. I notice now that normal keyboards are far louder than my laptop keyboard. I'm also verily glad that I have a big laptop with a normal-sized keyboard, or else I would be using the backspace key on here four times as much as I already have to.
Today's random question of the day: Which keys on your keyboard are the most worn out?
Answer: I have a nice little smooth spot on the right-hand side of my space bar, and my backspace key is looking a little worn. Says a bit about my typing, non?
The guy sitting next to me just got up and left, I hope I didn't annoy him with my typing. Silly me and my guilt. If I hear someone clear their throat in the far corner of the room, I'll think I'm annoying them somehow. And then make an effort to type even quieter, which I'm pretty sure (short of making this take like, fifteen hours to type) is physically impossible.

There's nothing like this lovely feeling of.. done-ness I feel right now. Yeah, lots of people were jealous that I got all my finals over with before this weekend, but all the rushed studying sucked. That aside, I do believe it is time for some much deserved nostalgia. Because I know, as much as I complained about it while it was going on, this was such a freaking fun quarter (minus most of the weekends.. I'll maintain my bitter stance on that). Despite the stress and constant homework and social rejection and peer pressure and.. well, we've been through all that before. So, looking back, I will outline what I remember most about this quarter... and then maybe I'll judge how it went, eh?
( Random Nostalgia! )
So... that only got cut because it ended up tons longer than I meant it to be. Yaay. So, there's my random sort-of happy summary of the quarter. It's been fun, but I can't wait to get home. This afternoon is for doing laundry, and packing up, and much rejoicing. And of course, putting some time and effort into my last hum paper of the quarter. I've really got to learn to put more effort into the finals. I pretty much put good effort into things all quarter, but by the end I'm usually just out of energy, whereas most people are all panicky and don't want to screw up, so they do super-well on everything at the end, and it makes me look bad and where was this sentence going again, because I can't remember what I wrote to start it and now I'm confused! So, yeah. Good sign of my general exhaustion. It might also be an effect of the only 5 hours of sleep I got last night. I could've gotten like, 7 if I'd known my final didn't start until 9:30, darnit! Grrrr.
Anyway... yeah.. Laundry. Paper. Finish. Woo.
