Ok... my mind is seriously out of whack. Let's see if I can sum this dream up... I basically played the entire thing like a video game. It looked like it was loosely based on FFVII... well, at least it had Cloud in it... and most of the first part was just running around. Then I ended up in this cave where these two random forest sprite-type things decided to see if Cloud would make a good Chocobo hunter. So they tapped his arm and they were all like "Whoa, he'll be a most excellent hunter. The talent here is amazing." Then suddenly this guy dressed in full chocobo hunter garb (painted up like PS-Al... same color stripes, too, and with bells and trinkets) came in and stole one of my Chocobos. So I had to chase after him. I ran back to this castle and he must've gotten away, so I had to try all over again. So outside the castle the fairies came back and had to choose a different hunter. So (I guess the idea was to always pick someone random from my team... uhhh) this time they picked Roy Mustang. Hi, Roy Mustang. You have so much to do with FFVII... So they gave him this weird red drink, which he downed in one gulp. They gave him a weird look and started asking him questions, which he answered in his usual straight military way. And the last question was one of those "Are you feeling like yourself?"-type ones, and his response was "200 red lines on the horizon..." then he turned and fell over, so the fairies made Cid the Chocobo hunter instead. I'm going to say it was Cid, because it makes more sense that way... I have no idea who the guy was. Then we went off again and I sort of wondered if it mattered who the hunter was, since Cloud's reviews had been so much better. Actually, now that I think about it the guy was sort of like Cid-Auron. But anyway... we also ran into these two wolves that had been in our party before, but were now chocobo hunters (still all painted up). We tried to get them to join up again, and they accused us of trying to take away their livelihood. So we went back to the castle and got ambushed by Lyla-Ed. Who was... dressed in Ed's clothes, but with Lyla's bangs and personality. She was droning on about how Dante ignored her, so she had to keep reminding her psychically. Then she closed her eyes and started shouting. So the party headed off and ended up at this airport. We boarded our plane and (yes, I was there too now) and then had to get off inside. It taxied around the hallways, and we stopped to pick up these weird anti-stress rings that looked like brillo pads. I got on the plane and that was the last I saw of Cloud, Mustang, and Auron-Cid. I ended up on this weird dark-green island that sometimes passes for the UofC in my dreams. becada422 was there, and she was vagely mad at me about something I had done. I felt bad, but she wouldn't let me do anything about it. There was something about bumper cars. Next thing I knew we were all standing by the barn, and most of the rest of "the girls" were there to. I was trying in vain to smoke a cigarette, because it kept going out. I've got no idea how I kept relighting it, because I had no lighter. And after a while it turned into a candle that burnt my hands so I put it down in the SNOW that suddenly appeared on the ground. The mechanic came and told us things would be sorted out soon. Then there was some kind of random commercial involving Lyla-Ed and how to brush your teeth with an oversized toothbrush (as long as the bristle-part is not bigger than your mouth, you can do it without injury!).

I think Squeenix has somehow hijacked my dreams. Kind of like Quaker Oats. Ooooh those evil coroporations and their mind-control rays!

Awww, thanks. (-: It's OK, you stopped being mad at me in the dream I had later on when I fell asleep on the couch, in which we were part of some bizarre baseball movie and primarily in charge of the sound effects. (-;
