(Tis national talk-like-a-pirate-day! But this is as far as it goes).
Woo, two entries within a day of each other. The sign that, yes, things are finally settling down around here. Unfortunately that means 1) I have entered the period where I actually get paid for fixing things and 2) People haven't broken anything yet. Maybe tomorrow... Hehehehe. Which reminds me I should get some CocoPuffs or Lucky Charms or something to snack on in the morning now that I don't have to get up at evil times and be obligated to be someplace on time. I have actually fixed two things today, but they weren't big enough things to make it work putting in a work order and logging my time. Maybe I'll tack the time onto something else. That's probably not cheating too much.
So far the freshmen are pretty cool. They're staying up and hanging out (at least about half of them) just like we did last year, so I have hope. The really freaky-ish thing now is that the room these two guys had last year is occupied by two guys that are almost exactly like them. Though the computer-savvy is spread differently and the other guy doesn't look likely to decide to start speaking Japanese halfway through the year, it's like some sort of housing conspiracy to always put the same type of guys in that room. I wonder if next year they can pull off finding two girls to put in that room that will somehow also be amazingly similar. Hehehe.
Right... I should really be off to bed. I'd be exhausted, except I took that nap. Just what I need... make sure my sleep schedule's good and screwed up before classes start. I hope my package with all my forgotten stuff comes tomorrow so I can go buy my books early. I hope the class lists are up at the Co-op.. but I know most of my books are going to be at the campus bookstore which basically means no fun and expensive. Yuck. Maybe I'll just write down the books and see what I can find on eBay.
