Wee! Hooray for Fandubs! Sketchy came up and dragged me downstairs to watch, because I told her to, as long as they weren't showing Nescaflowne. And happy me, that's the one they showed last! So now I'm back up here avoiding watching it again. But I did get to see Lord of the Jewels (LoTR/Inuyasha parody... bizarre, but amusing enough), then ReDeath Redux or whatever the Evangelion one is... It's GENDO. Eee! Worth it just for that. And Yay bizarre pokemon always appearing. And really nothing beats the musical interludes in ReDeath. Except for a brief time, the It's Gendo! pokemon in Fanboy Bebop. I slept through all of these at ACen... but it was 3:00 before Nescaflowne was over and it was the first one they showed. I didn't have the energy to stay up. But hooray for Ikasucon, for being organized with their A/V stuff, even with only one working DVD player. I only had to endure Heino once. Once! As opposed to the five or so times I had to see it before.
So... today was busy, pretty much. We got up at 5 to leave... left at six. I slept a total of about three hours in the car (two sets of an hour and a half), and then we were here, and we got our hotel keys and I changed into my Winry costume and we basically wandered the place for twelve or so hours. We had pizza for dinner around 7, when I was about ready to drop from hunger. I don't survive well on three hours of sleep, a donut, some M&Ms, and half a cup of barely-cooked (water boiled with a coffee pot) ramen noodles. There was much doodling, a bit of Kakashi vs. Kakashi confusing action with the Naruto fighting game (I want!)... a bit of entering in the DDR tournament tomorrow (on StepMania, which I want more. Eep! All mixes! And anime songs! Want! Want!!!) I might actually fare well. Yay good pads! Yay not a whole lot of people who aren't impressed by me getting a B on Tsugaru. Yay Tsugaru. Yay DDR! Yay nice people who play DDR who are, despite the smell in there (ugh... it smells like stale ramen and BO! hehehe), very cool people. I was not glomped today (probably for the best), though I think I had my picture taken just as many times as at ACen. I did glomp someone today randomly... I don't even know why... But I was told to. So I did. Tomorrow though, when I am a ninja, there will be glomping. Much glomping. Yayness!
I am hyper. I meant to get Sprite, but I ended up with MelloYellow (caffeine! no!) because that's what I got when I tried to get Cherry Coke for my sister. Oooh well. Hyper is OK, because it's much better than tired an headachey like I was earlier. Could also have been all the laughing I did in the past three hours. Ahh... I actually am liking this con better than ACen. I don't know if it's the company, or the fact that because it's smaller the people are a little more social, or if it's me being more familiar with the way things work. Might be all three (some moreso than others, obviously... not having a possessive-looking Asian guy hanging off of you all the time makes a big difference). I also realized that the fandubs would not have been as much fun with my ACen pals, because they never react to anything (unless it's more perverted than usual).
Ohh! And I managed to buy stuff this time, but I've only spent 20 dollars. My spoils so far include two small posters (Cowboy Bebop and Naruto), a Kakashi pin, and a Trigun kitty plushie. Yay! I think that'll complete my random purchasing this weekend too, unless I come across some cool stickers for my laptop. Wee.
Alright... I'd write more (and I will fill in more stuff at the end of the weekend, if work doesn't kill me first), but I think going to bed now would be a better idea. I do want to get up at least by 10, preferably by nine so I can get breakfast. And it's 2 now. Ah well, so much for my long sleep. It's a sacrifice I'll have to make. And I think my extra energy will keep me going tomorrow... and 7 hours is a lot more than three. I'll probably feel great. Or at least I'll keep telling myself that. Hehehe.
