Well, I have returned from my trip to Cleveland... I found a rather nice laptop that I want, but unfortunately it's rather too expensive for me. Dratted money... always getting in the way of things. Oh well, it was still fun playing around with all of them. There was only one that actually had a manageable keyboard, though. The rest were too small, and spaced around really weird. They also had really tiny spacebars, so you end up hitting the alt keys instead of the spacebar, and do all sorts of weird things. Strange computers.
I had such a weird dream last night. I was someplace downstate in Ohio, near the river, where there were all sorts of old iron bridges and stuff. I was stupposed to be there for some sort of track meet, and I was yelling at my mom that I didn't mind the meets so much as the practicing, because at least there was a goal at the meets. She was yelling at me because I hadn't gone to the meet in Cleveland earlier in the day... then it started storming (gee.. could that be because that's all the weather's done around here for the past two days? Bah, and it's always on the days I don't work!).. so I ran across all these baseball fields, and climbed over fences and stuff to get to my car, then I was driving around this huge maze of bridges to get out of there, and I eventually ended up someplace with this bizarre house, and my mom was on the porch giving me some sort of speech about drugs, and how they grow wild in some places.
I added some different links on the side here.. mostly just to get rid of those pointless Tripod ones. Maybe I'll just set this as my homepage, and use the links here to get around.. that would be super-lazy of me, wouldn't it? And also pointless. I am so bored, I think I'll go around and look for some other blog that has something random in common with mine. Or maybe I'll do a google search for "Steel-Brite Popcorn" and see what comes up. That might amuse me for at least a little while. Then I think I'll go check the UofC Class of 2007 bulletin board, and see if anything interesting is going on there. If nothing is, I'm sure I'll be back here in a bit. It feels like it should be much later than it is...
