Wow. I actually made it back here before 7:30 tonight. Hooray for lines being memorized quickly for my drama project (double-hooray for partners that can act, yay!). Now I just have to hope that I don't lose my voice for tomorrow, because I don't want to put this thing off for another week. I don't need anything else due next week, especially since I won't have this weekend to work on it. Plus I'm going to have to revise my Bio paper and write a Hum paper (please be due Monday rather than Thursday, please be due Monday rather than Thursday)... Darn this school.

Track practice was insane today. It was this absolutely light workout, and by the end I was absolutely exhausted. I blame the cold medicine. Non-drowsy my hehind! All I've been today is drowsy! Well, in addition to stuffy and occasionally cold, and often bored. Oh, and stressed. We can't forget that one.

It seems like lately I haven't been keeping up with the usual long entries. Oh well. I'm going to blame this extreme laziness. Err... that doesn't sound like much of an excuse. Really I'm just trying to waste time until it's a reasonable time to take a shower, then I'm going to write my performance review for drama that should have been written way back in January right after I saw the show, but naturally I put it off... then I'm going to read for a bit, because I have several chapters of DuBois to get through for Thursday (and a response paper to write too, drat).

I think I've got things mostly figured out for this weekend, at least. I've got to get up at about 6ish so I can catch the 7:12 28 bus to Union Station, which will get me there at about 7:40. Hopefully the train won't be too late, so I'll have to check before I leave. I'd hate to have to sit around the station for several hours. I also have to remember to bring money to put on my CTA card so I don't have to worry about not having correct change while I'm trying to cart my sister around downtown. I wish I knew Belmont... but I suppose not having any experience there will make it even more of an adventure. I hope I can find someone to wander around with us... the Red Line's creepy. I'm not sure I could protect my sister if any of the weirdos show up... Though, in my experience it's only super-creepy after midnight, and is quite tolerable around 8 or 10 in the morning. Of course, that depends on us both getting up and out of here before 10. I think I'll probably just play everything by ear though. I never make plans! Nya!

Is 9:00 too early to take a shower on a night where you don't usually go to sleep until 1? Is it excusable when you have a particularly virulent cold? And possibly a fever? Or if you're probably just a hypochondriac... or just feel like you're acting like one, because you can't prove that you're all miserable and lethargic.

Eeee, my computer seems so much happier now that I've cleaned all that stuff off of it. Hooray! What a difference a gig of space makes. Now, if only I had something I could move all my MP3s onto... something like a 40 gig iPod... which is the size of my computer's hard drive. Hehehehe. That would be so lovely. I could throw all my CDs on there, and my MP3s... and still have room for other things. I am so jealous of the people I see walking around campus with their iPods. Darn it.
