OK... so it's sort of bizarre to have a pseudo-hair band song stuck in your head... all the time. Gosh darn certain people on our floor! Gosh darn them to heck! Not that the video isn't amusing... (scroll down to "I Believe in a Thing Called Love") I wonder if this is a common thing in the real world, or just something that has been circulating at random here?
I'm writing this in the client again, because it looks more like I'm writing a paper rather than sitting online using up the prescious wireless network with my inane writing on the internet. At least it's not as cold in here as it was last time I was sitting around in Harper on a Wednesday (though, I did manage to freeze my hair again today, only on a much smaller scale since it isn't freakin ridiculous degrees below zero today.
So, I found myself in the training room today, since my shins were really really bothering me. The diagnosis is that not only was my mom right about the shin splints, but I was right about the problems with my knees and the arches of my feet. Pretty pathetic, non? So now I've discovered a new and exciting way to waste even more time during the day. I now need to spend an extra hour doing excercises and icing and warming and all that silly stuff you always have to do when you're injured so you don't screw yourself up permanently. Gah! Ah well, I guess I'll just have to deal with it. Though, in retrospect, I think dealing with the pain might have been a little easier (and cheaper, since I need new running shoes and spikes...) So much for making it to third quarter on this money, oh dear. I think I'm going to have to ask my mom to pay me back for all the train tickets I've bought... which is just evil of me, I think. I should pay for my own transportation home.
Gah, I've still got almost half an hour before I need to go to my calc problem session. Maybe I should close up this comuter of mine and work on the problems a bit before I get there... that would generally be a good idea. But I'm just so darned lazy.
