Gah! That was the mose eeeevil test ever! Ever! I don't think anyone in my entire class actually finished it... and the prof made us stop and turn it in when time was up. No extra time at all. Insanity! Ah well, I bet there'll be a rather large curve, at least. I hope. Also, the level of insane evil calculus professor sarcasm on our test was about fifty million times more prevalent. Any proof preceded by "OH JOY!" is obviously doom. What else could it be?

Well, at least the week's basically over now. As long as I make it through Thursday, Friday is never a problem. Woo. Now all I have to do is worry about my Bio paper and my collage for Drama. Neither of which should pose major problems aside from actually starting them. At least, that's what I say now. Before I've actually tried to start them. I think if I quit fooling around all the time, I'll be able to get a whole heck of a lot done this weekend, making week of doom (as it is traditionally) not-so-bad. Mostly because everything's due Monday. Then it's another three weeks and then I've got more papers and projects and midterms. I can't believe I'm almost halfway through the quarter already! It's just nuts. Another five weeks and it'll be almost spring. Which means less of this silly -8 windchill crap we've been having. There is no proper justification for that, and I demand that nature have to face some consequences for its actions!

I suppose I should get used to going to track practice again. It feels like I haven't been to it in weeks, when really I was even there yesterday... except it doesn't count because it was a pool workout and the half of it that wasn't running in place and bounding around was racing everyone else across the pool and getting lots of water in my ears and nose. I hope I don't have to leave early today for that lecture on Nietszche, since I've missed so much this week. Even though it's a proper excuse, I still feel guilty. I always feel guilty. Bah!

So... it's still cold in here. I wish our windows in here weren't broken... I wish the radiator in here wasn't broken. And now it's pretty widely known that they are closing my dorm in four years... which means nothing is going to get fixed. I'm sort of torn between staying here next year (because I do like this floor, excluding a few people), and trying to get into Stony or somesuch (I think Stony is the only other dorm that has apartment-like rooms...), because they're just going to stop fixing things here soon. I'll be sad to see it sold... I rather like the Shoreland, as much as I complain about it. Really it's all the buses fault. It can't be helped that the air is terribly dry and that sometimes the radiators don't work quite right. You get that in old buildings. It's character. Sigh... alas, poor Shoreland.

Hmmm... actually, if the university's going to sell this... which they have to, since they can't get rid of it otherwise since it's all historical and all... they'll have to fix it up a bit to get a good price. Hooray for one aspect of economics! The rest of economics can disappear, though.
