Hmm... tonight is sort of my computer's stress test. I'm seeing if I can freeze it up or something... it's not working (woohoo!). Apparently running a full virus scan, Mozilla, AIM, Winamp, ZoneAlarm, and the task manager (wow, I wish I knew what all these background programmes on here did...) just doesn't take up any more than about 20% of the total my computer can handle. I need to work this thing harder, apparently! I love watching the little numbers and lines go up and down. I wonder why electronics amuse me so much. Ahhh... I love my little computer. I wish I didn't have to worry so much about carrying it around with me... gosh darn dishonest people! Silly world, not being a safe place for innocent little laptops.

So, I was writing an entry in here, but I was updating my virus definitions at the same time, because I've been getting all kinds of virus-infected e-mails on the university e-mail address because someone in Palevsky (according to rumour) got the MyDoom virus, and it's been going all over campus now. Not that I opened any of the e-mails, because we were all warned and it was pretty obvious which ones they were, but better safe than sorry, non? It's been spreading much like all these quizzes that circulate from one journal to another... only a lot more dangerous, and not quite as amusing. I wonder why so many of us are having three kids? Also, I realized that I completely overlooked the fact that my first child is apparently female. I might just name her Basil Bart anyway. I'm such a terrible potential mother!

See, this is why having things that I should do, but don't have to get done right away is a verily, verily bad thing. I should be working on my calc, or doing my reading for hum. But neither of those things need to be done until Thursday. So for now I'm not doing them. I can't just let everything pile up this week though, because this weekend I have to finish the rough draft of my SEVEN PAGE bio paper, and make my collage for drama. Which is going to take quite a bit of time. But it looks like once again I am not on the bus to the meet (woo!), so I'm not going to worry as much as I would were I heading off to Kenosha this weekend. I'm probably exhiled this time because I haven't been to practice yet this week. But I couldn't help it! It's so nice to actually have an excuse. Hehehe.

Wow, I'm only using .15% of the total I can on this network right now. I wonder how much it would jump up if I got three or four IMs going and started downloading stuff again... Hmmm... Maybe I'll try to find out!

Oh, and if there are typos out the wazoo on this entry, it's because I'm not looking at what I'm writing. Graphs are distracting when they go up and down... hehehe.
