Well.... A teensy bit more than 25 hours before my train and I leave for Chicago again. Gosh darn, this hasn't been much of a break at all. Pretty much all I've done is work (and shop a bit, for all the clothes that I need so I don't have to do laundry so often). I made my first strange iron-on shirt tonight! It was supposed to be my "experiment" shirt, but it turned out quite well, so I'm just going to keep it as it is. antipixie would be quite amused to find that ancient multi-coloured armadillo I made with paint back in like, 8th grade now affixed to the front of a shirt. It was fun random nostalgia browsing through all the strange pictures I had saved on my old computer, trying to find something that would allow itself to be stuck to the front of a shirt.

So, today was my last day at work (though I imagine I'll be back again over the summer, at least until I can find a better paying and more rewarding job, heh). Boy am I glad it was, too. Things at the theatre are literally falling apart. We are out of so much stuff (bags, cookie dough bites, gummi bears, skittles, snickers, mr pibb, cherry coke, diet coke, root beer..). And when the pop distributer came today, they brought two litre bottles rather than the syrup we needed, and they wont' be back until Monday! Then two of the drink towers broke (they just... spray pure syrup everywhere), number 1 popper is still broken.. Drains are clogged... well, let's just say I'm really glad I'm not around there anymore. They might have everything straightened out by this summer. Maybe.

So, there was something else I was going to write, but I can't remember it right now. I think I'll go back to putting bizarre things on shirts. I've decided I'm putting a modified version of my Johnny Depp "Here are your MP3s, hippie" background on the black one, and I still plan on making my pamplemousse one... but that one will undoubtedly be the riskiest and I don't know quite how I'm going to get all the letters lined up properly, or even if the lettering's going on the front or the back. And I'm torn on the other one between a slagathor (see icon), or "omg" on the front and "wtf?" on the back. Maybe I could do both!
