It's a good thing I don't have to be there until 11 tomorrow, so I can actually do my paperwork beforehand. It looks like this entire evening will be Mr. Spider's.

I'm glad I'm not going to have to show him to actual kids, because his legs would probably all fall off and they'd be traumatized. Curse my haphazard night-before crafting. But I'm proud of him anyway. (Mr. Fly doesn't make noise anymore, but he can do a silly dance, and automatically faceplants whenever you set him down.)
Hehe, we'll have to see how much leeway they give me with things. If they're not careful, there could be a whole menagerie of animals based very loosely on folk stories.

My excitement is still settling in. I really hope the second-round goes okay on Tuesday. Even in that case, it'll easily be August before I get to go, and that's just so far away.
