Oh, (comparatively) rare moment of fangirling...

OMG ROY ABOUT FREAKING TIME YES. ...this is so not going to end well. Sometimes I forget why I'm still keeping up with FMA, and then I remember. I didn't even realize how much I was waiting for this.

In other, FMA-related news, I'm convinced that my boss hired OOC!Hughes from old-school omg_alchemist as our copy clerk. Demeanor, looks, bright purple shirts and everything (he had a seriously Hughes-color shirt yesterday. It was almost brain-breaking). I should try to convince him to go to school for something other than accounting. Flamboyant boys surely don't have any fun being accountants.

Oh, he clearly is. It's kind of like, when he's not on the page, he's reading them. Personally, I attribute this to him being the sort of guy who's just constantly composing his autobiography in his head.

I have not been keeping up with FMA, and you've got me curious. Hmmmm, do I want a spoiler or not? ...I'm probably never going to read it myself.

What's happening now isn't that much of a spoiler. It's really a logical part of the whole buildup to the end (it's weird watching this buildup parallel to BSG's). Basically, Roy has finally run into Envy, and I didn't realize I was waiting for that moment until he dropped into the room and I went "... Hoshi-- wait!" and Roy went off on his 'Who killed Hughes, you smirky aberration?!' thing. I'm torn between hoping for some kind of one-hit-KO-of-righteous-you-killed-my-friend-anger or a really epic battle (though in terms of the epic battle, I have a bad feeling about the survival of... well, anyone. They're kind of in a small area).

Okay, the picture's kind of small, but I definitely see it. He's got the right facial hair, and the right head-hair, and the right face shape... he looks a little different around the eyes, and he's obviously too young, but give him some rectangular glasses and a uniform/purple shirt and you've got some extremely decent Hughes cosplay. ...Dude. That's awesome! :DD

Between all the alternate universes out there, there's bound to be some slight variation. (He is a young'un: not even 21 yet.)

I shouldn't have mentioned the resemblance... now I'm going to be thinking about it tomorrow, and at some point I'm going to start laughing at him and not be able to explain why. (-; At least there's absolutely zero chance of him, I don't know, trying to make us all get along by making drugged smoothies or something. Though I may suggest that whenever I leave, for the rest of the office to deal with once I'm gone. ^_^

Leg-san will always be a part of my memories, if only because its epic tale is so intertwined with the Labyrinth Log of Utter Crazy Doom. I think that's going to stick with me forever, no matter what.

So long as "some stuff" isn't other people, I suppose that's okay. Having the rest of his crew there makes me veeeery nervous.

Or they look at each other and go "This room isn't big enough for the two of us" and there's this old-west "wah whee waaah" and they chase each other across Amestris having epic battles on top of trains and while jumping from roof to roof for several hundred volumes, getting endless random powerups while we sit there going "Is this FMA jumping the shark, or is evilhippo writing it before she leaves for work?"

In fact, this is exactly how it will happen.

One, god, yes Roy. I completely agree. I feel like I've been waiting for this chapter for years, and... well, I have been. Wow I've been reading this manga forever. Oh, this is going to be such sweet stuff. I'm so excited.
