So, I will be allowed to pull my tiny scrap of paper out of my work shoes, I'll tell you all about my day. I got up this morning, laid in bed for a bit, got up again, sat around on the couch, went to work at 11. I should've brought a book to work, as it was insanely slow. Then again, my managers were watching me like vultures today... it was sort of disturbing. Like I was being observed for some sort of experiment. For some reason (probably because it was sloooow) we had no projectionists, so the managers were up and down the stairs all day, doing a rather mundane job of maintaining the films... I had to call upstairs at least five times to fix things people kept coming out and complaining about... I don't know if it was because they were being incompetant, or because we had unusually willing-to-complain customers today. Could possibly be the latter, but at least they were nicer today. Though, I did have one unusual guy. This is the second one in a month like this... it was a lot like the guy at my dorm that followed me upstairs, only this time the guy said something like "I don't want to scare you or anything, but you have a really nice body. Wha? You look like you've seen a ghost! I mean, if I was a white dude I'd be like 'Daaang, c'mere baby!'" The fact that I was in a very public place at the time made it a heck of a lot less scary, though. And at least he didn't try to give me his phone number. See, tact. At least this freaky guy had tact. Take a lesson from that, future freaker-outers. Woo.
Then I got home at six and ate, then I sat around online for a bit, and watched TV (aaah, nice relaxing things). There really isn't a whole lot interesting on TV anymore though... I mean, even less than there was before I left. Or maybe my schedule's just off now and I don't know when to catch my favourite shows. Apparently Stargate's gone down a bit since my favourite character sort-of died (Well.. physically died and then turned into some light being and... uhh, if you haven't watched the show, don't bother trying to figure it out) before I left for college. Why do they always have to get rid of the cool ones? Gosh-darn... Yeah... maybe it's just me and my fascination with the dorky ones.
I'm torn between devoting my time to explaining myself to someone from school, and just sitting here and rambling more. This wouldn't be a question at all, except I can't really come up with anything else to ramble about. I'm trying to stay up a bit later tonight just because I have to be up until at least 2 tomorrow because of LoTR. Ah, I can't wait to see how they finish it off. Even though it wasn't my favourite of the books (Two Towers woo!), it ought to be the best of the movies in terms of acting and such since... well, everyone's been playing their characters for so long.. and they filmed it all at once, so it can't sell out to all kinds of evilness like the Star Wars sequels! Weee!
I think I'll just wander the internet aimlessly for a bit, and see what I come across. Being in an über-geeky (finally figured out how to do my precious umlats on this keyboard!) mood, I think I'm going to come up with some sort of Xenogears theme for my computer, and use it to.. umm... confuse people at college. Because I like to do that. After I spend the first half of the quarter flaunting my beautiful *POKE* background.
