In case we haven't made the point abundantly clear yet, I'm bored. I'm really, fantastically bored. And the job market still sucks and I need something to do once in a while and since I gave up my last MMO as my New Year's resolution and I'm weak at the moment, I'm currently downloading the City of Heroes free trial. I mean, I've been curious about it for a while and actually once tried to play it before I realized that my old computer couldn't handle it. Also, PlayNC kept losing my account info, so I am now on my third account with them. But I hear the game is worth it for the character customization. Which, with how picky I am sometimes, may very well take me two weeks.

Point, however, being: anyone care to join me for 14 days? I'm quite certain I won't continue playing because, well, I have no money, and can't afford to get addicted to another way to waste time. But a two-week romp as a superhero might be fun. Especially with more people (and that way I can get away with playing a proper support class, and won't have to be a Scrapper like, undoubtedly, everyone else in the game). Also, I hear it's full of creepy, scary, weird people. Who could possibly pass that up?

Edit: Well, if anyone decides to look for me, I'm Anders on the Freedom (I think?) server. However, the entire thing lags worse than Shattrath on a Sunday, so I doubt I'll be playing much. (This is good, very good. Though I do like the character creation. I might just sit around and do that a bunch. The graphics kind of hurt my eyes, and the controls are... so not smooth (my cursor! It gets lost at random, and I can't stop running!)

Edit 2: After further consideration, I think my main issue with City of Heroes/Villains is WHY WAS THIS SO EASY?! (Yes, I forgot the glasses.) I should also mention that he summons ninjas. This would make an awesome sandbox game. If it wasn't so slow. And full of people who only stop ignoring you long enough to call you a newb.

Thankfully, the game is boring enough without someone else there that I don't think the problem of addiction would be anything to worry about.

I think I still have it somewhere. Perhaps I'll give in, once I'm done playing with the character creation in this. It actually kind of makes me want to find a way to hack it so I just have the character creation... It's actually made me want to work on my characters for the novel I've been meaning to write since like, September.
