Is it just me, or does the new Batman trailer make it look like almost the entire movie takes place on LaSalle street? (For those of you not in Chicago/not as familiar with Chicago which is... most everyone here. Visual Aid. Yes, I'm cheating because I know they filmed it there. But I didn't expect it to be that obvious.)
Not that it limits the potential for awesome. The Joker's makeup? Freaking creepy. Also, explosions.

I do too. Mostly because the last one was so good. And to make sure that I can get through it without pointing out which bits of Chicago things were shot in... because if I did that, I think someone would have to shoot me. But I know the temptation will be there. (I'm very, very curious to find out if they changed the names of restaurants and things they were very obviously shooting near. I kind of regret not harassing the one guard I talked to more, but I didn't want to get him in trouble.)

And, um, that does look pretty familiar - like LaSalle, and some random banks. Huh. Well, now I know that Chicago's streets and Boston's aerial shot cityscape look exactly like their do in movies.
