Wow, it's the third of April and I haven't said anything here for days. My life is suddenly made of reading, writing, and plotting. I spent my hour and a half between classes earlier today eating a quick lunch, then writing what appears to be two solid pages of characterization for things in my tiny messy handwriting. Thursday, I'm going to have to start work on my BA again, so this is a short-lived, if wonderful, break. Tonight, I have a massive amount of reading to do so I can work on the presentation I have to make Thursday for my irony class.

Medieval English is ridiculous. It's also fun to read, once you realize that, for example, "chiere" isn't some variation on the French for friend, but "stare." It's like everything's spelled phonetically in a British accent, with bits of French and German mixed in. Also, I'm easily amused. And being able to read it makes me feel smart.

On top of this, characters that have kindly ducked out of my mind, more or less, for two months or so are pestering me again. In addition to ones that shouldn't be around in the first place, like Sylar and Nathan Petrelli and... yeah. My head is a busy place lately. I can't wait until it can do what it wants again, rather than having to concentrate almost exclusively on this crazy BA of mine. Monday, Monday... mmm, Monday.

I will be cheery until approximately 9 tonight when the cold front moves through, at which point I will develop a horrid headache (like I had when I got up this morning, since it was storming) and then mourn the fact that it's going to be cold until halfway through next week. (Snow! Freaking snow! This is supposed to be spring, goshdarnit!)

I need to figure out how to operate my ballet shoes by tomorrow afternoon (methinks I've got some minor sewing ahead of me). Yay.

Medieval English is so so much fun. XD

What do you EXPECT the weather to do? It's the Midwest. Of COURSE we're going to have nasty cold spells in spring that kill off all the pretty little flowers that are trying to ejaculate and multiply.

If I didn't have so much fun with the reading, I'd stick with it just because the professor reminds me of Doctor Cox, and it amuses me to no end. I wonder if he antagonizes the department for fun, and puts his sneakers on the table during important meetings. He seems like the type.

I don't expect the weather to do anything. I know better than that. But darnit if I'm not going to complain about it when it pulls this 70-to-30 crap twice in one spring.

We had a tornado siren on campus at like, 9:30 this morning. I think if there'd been an actual tornado, no one would've moved from class anyway. It's a good thing it wasn't an actual tornado.
