Of course we're covering Maus. (-; It is a pretentiously-focused class (it's the UofC, after all). My problem is that I'd rather approach the pretentiousness from a nerd standpoint, than one that's already pretentious. (-: It looks like we're basically covering a lot of the autobiographical-type comics, it looks like. The official distinction is graphic novels that don't derive themselves from the superhero/comics code traditions, which seems to rule out most of the stuff I've heard of/read that isn't Maus. ^_^
