It's noon. That, in and of itself, isn't all that strange. Except I've been up for four hours. That's just... I mean, what was my body thinking?? I went to sleep at three last night! I couldn't fall asleep! (I've been freaking out for a week straight over everything!) And I get up at 8? What the heck? This does not help with the boredom!

So far, in the past three days I have: finished House of Leaves, read the first two volumes of Sandman (since the library finally deigned to find them for me), watched the second season of Honey and Clover (up to seven, which is an awful place to have to leave off), caught up with the five episodes of Ouran I hadn't seen, watched a few more episodes of Princess Tutu, and gotten halfway through Densha Otoko. Oh, and I'm nearly finished with FFX for the second time (meaning this is the second time I'm nearly finished). Nothing is keeping me occupied! I am very nearly out of things to watch/do. I might have to break down and play X-2. Actually, I was going to play it instead of X because Tidus annoys the utter holy crap out of me (as does the voice acting work on Yuna, but at least she isn't a completely, utterly useless character)... but I got as far as Yuna singing in the opening and just could't do it. Couldn't. I think I'll try again when I finish X because, heck, it's not like I have anything important to do. Maybe I should actually finish Xenosaga II instead... but my sister deleted my nearly-complete file, along with my finished Episode I file, so... that's gonna be a pain.

Hey, at least I'm ranting about books, video games, and anime and not school right now... that's a slight improvement, right? (Just nod and smile guys, just nod and smile.)

Edit: Also, in my gmail spam box right now, there are three messages made up of snippets from David Copperfield. Even though it's mangled, I could still recognize it as Dickens... I've never liked Dickens, and yet there's a certain beauty to it when it's boiled down to a few words and rearranged so it makes absolutely no sense in a randomly-generated sort of way. I'm keeping them. "And lo, the Doctor, always our good friend, labouring at his amusements away from home, with her mother; and Mrs. Markleham, the parlour door, I entered, and asked him how he was." You can tell they're taken from the Project Gutenberg version, because the line breaks are the same. Figuring this out amuses me to no end. Hooray, public domain. "We cant be happy together for five Mr. Littimer, without being at all discomposed, signified by a carriage a moment - if you can spare a moment." Phrases are so interesting when no sense is intended.

*smiles and nods*

Yeah, you should finish FFX, even though Tidus whines all the time and the voice acting is weak. Cloud was much cooler in FF7. Stay away from FFX-2, though ... or have you forgotten those horrific screenshots I showed you? :-)

That's what I should do. My sister's gone most of the day, I can actually finish 7 without her hovering over my shoulder alternately spoiling things for me and making fun of me for sucking.

And as a matter of fact, I'd managed to repress the memory of those screenshots. Gee thanks for bringing it up again.

It feels wrong without it. I never realized there could be a weird accent to making something blue. (-; I've got a horrible urge to re-read it now, though, on the L or something so people can wonder why I'm turning the book upside down and sideways every other page. (I'm not even going to get into my writing-jealousy.)

There's a second season of Honey and Clover?

Oh wait, is that the second set of 13 episodes or something? Or is it new?

And oh god, don't tell me you're getting sucked into the Ouran High School Club thing too! Cause then I'd have to go watch it....

"Sucked in" isn't quite the word for it. It's kind of... te kind of thing you can't look away from. Probably because of the pink. It is rather entertaining, though. (-:
