And I just caught up on Doctor Who. Outside of having no idea what to say about most of that... I'm, oddly, kind of left with the impression that the alternate universe isn't really so alternate, and is, through some twist of all the things that have been broken and un-broken since the first season, what Earth is meant to be. Since the Golden Age was probably meant to be a bit longer and all that. Also, for the moment, I'd like to express my extreme problem with the fact that, whenever I watch the show anymore, it makes all my bad plot ideas worse. Gee thanks, Doctor Who. Don't you understand I'm not allowed to rip off your plots? And when you go and preempt bits of mine, I get all stabby. You don't want me to be stabby.

However, any character named "the Bride" who isn't stabby with a katana will disappoint me teribly. Trust me on this.

La la la, this is extra space so anyone who goes to comment doesn't have to worry too much about reading spoilers. La la la. I think the only one I have to worry about is Dar. And possibly Sketchy. Unless I somehow talked chocolatemoose into this along the line, too. I think I remember trying. Oh, and Kaida too. Erm... la la la.

I'm not sure why, but I am! (I think the problem is that I've probably had four cups of tea already today, and none of it's been my usual decaf stuff. Plus I was all sickly yesterday with one of my massive evil headaches that for some reason get even angrier if I take anything for them. You'd think I'd have learned to know better than to take anything by now, but noooo. But the point is that today I don't feel like I might be dying, and that's good! Even if this was the first really bad one my parents have witnessed, so now I'm going to have to see the doctor about it. I'd rather see the Doctor about it. At least I could worry less about him deciding I'm broken and not being able to fix it properly.

Anyway... this bit of watching-things leaves me with... probably five gigs of stuff that I stole from sketchyheart to get through. Including Ouran (which is... holy wtf). And Princess Tutu. And other random things to keep me occupied in all this unnecessary spare time I have. (It's rained all day today, plus I had to run around to get supplies for dinner. Then make dinner. So still no proper job-hunting. Sigh.)

Every time I turn around, my shirt creaks somehow. It's made of cotton. I do not understand how this works.

I'm also thinking that I should probably get around to starting on all the writing I have to get done before September. Because if I'm not going to be doing anything, I might as well not be doing anything productively. (Why won't anyone hire me! Whyyy. If anyone points out that it's because I'm not trying very hard, I'm going to grr at them. Watch me.)
