This whole no car thing is starting to be a serious problem. (So is the fact that I didn't quite manage to drag myself out to look for a job today, but that's mostly because somehow I'd forgotten I had no clean pants, and needed to perhaps update my resume so I have references that have seen me in the last three years or so.)
I need a car. I don't care if I just get my old car back. Even though my mom's run it into the ground since she got it. There seems to be ways that cars break down that only she is able to cause... or at least, that she has caused now in two cars in a row. One is that the driver's side door handle gets stuck, so you can't shut the door without smacking it down. And she also somehow breaks the heater. I've had the air conditioning die on me twice, but I know of ancient cars that are somehow still able to produce heat. It's a combustion engine in there. How it fails to produce heat in her presence is just mind-boggling. But it's not like I need heat in the summer. I just need a car, so I can check the little box that asks me if I have reliable transportation. Sigh.
In other news... at least I'm entertained in the evenings. And now that I've sorted out the pesky little thing where, for some reason, after I installed gaim AOL would only let me receive IMs properly when I was away, I can log things properly again. And that makes me happy.
In other other news... as I was watching episode 25 of FMA for the fifty billionth time becauseI'm masochistic or something I needed an angry icon for the rp account. First time I've gone frame-by-frame, and as I did this, I noticed that Hughes winces as he goes to knife Envy!Ross. On its own, it's a funny-looking screenshot, but I'm pretty sure I've also decided that it's adorably endearing and heart-breaking that, even when it comes down to knifing pure evil, he still doesn't want to see himself do it.
... Yes, I am entirely too attached to the guy. But honest, it's mostly because I love messing around with his character. Anyway! Wincing. Interesting. Yes.
