All right... I'm bored out of my mind. I can't come up with anything to write about, which will become a problem somewhere around midnight tonight... I'm tired of re-reading things right now. So, I guess today will be my official day of rest this weekend. I've got tomorrow to get things done, I guess. Unfortunately, it'll be just as uselessly hot as today's been. It just makes me want to nap.

So. Mulholland Drive. What on earth happened in that movie? I'd say I didn't "get it", but I'm not entirely convinced that there was, in fact, anything to get. I suppose there may have been, considering we had to watch it for film, but it was ambiguity week... perhaps the ambiguity's in whether it made any sense.

Anything at all interesting going on for anyone? Anyone have a story they can tell me? Real or fictional, I don't care, as long as it isn't meant to scar me too much. Or perhaps you could enlighten me about Mulholland Drive. My brain feels like it's about to ooze out my ears, and I don't know if it's from boredom or the heat. It's probably both.

Amazing how little it takes for me to knock Mary Sue points off. (I want to like her more, I really do.) Maybe she's adapting...

Mm, for some reason I don't see Rose as much of a Mary Sue. Mostly because Mary Sues don't get told off like she did in School Reunion. XD;

I blame Bad Wolf. I think the whole... somehow absorbing the time vortex and not dying, and you know, being all-powerful, for however short a time, made me kind of fear future Sue-ishness... mostly in the form of falling for the Doctor. I think at some point, though, I'm just going to have to learn to trust TV writers. (-; I think the last few episodes have done a good job of un-Sueing her for me since then, though. (I'm not accustomed to the long history of companions. They seem to make me nervous.)
