Two adventures in two days... (and today's not even over). My only regret is that I haven't been able to come up with any good April Fool's jokes. I do, however, have an epic battle currently raging on my desk.

Who will win? Well... the moose-princess seems to have her own side, which may or may not include the knight. Those clone troopers, though, definitely have it in for Hughes, but I'm sort of hoping the dinosaur steps in to help him. There's probably some height-jealousy going on. I mean, if I was a tiny-little clone, I'd probably be jealous of a guy half the size of a dinosaur, too. But this also means it'd only take one knife each to take them down, if he could throw four knives faster than the four of them could shoot. Which, let's face it, the he couldn't. Alas.
So, letsee... yesterday, we went out for the roomie's birthday and had dinner at a French-type restaurant. I'll... try very hard not to complain about the trip downtown. Not because it was windy, or rainy, or cold... but because I'd been talked into wearing a skirt. Therefore, my discomfort was my own darn fault for giving in to peer pressure. I own one skirt... one. And if ever there was a day that I shouldn't have worn it, it was yesterday. (Except, had I worn pants, I would've been sorely out of place between the roomies. Conformity is important to me, ya know?) Other than that, though, things were fun.
And today involved going downtown again... this time for actual semi-aimless shopping. Which was really following Skirtpants and
solitaryjane around as they picked up things they needed like art supplies and rechargeable batteries and such, illustrated by odd conversation about the definition of perversion and checking Playboy out of the Reg and such. I ended up, as I always do when randomly in art stores, picking up random things. This time I got four colours of modelling clay which "are great for claymation." I will, undoubtedly, have to get back to you on that. Then we went to target, where I picked up a knight and the clone troopers that have made the epic desk battle possible.
And now there's going to be a party in here tonight... which means I should probably get my playthings off my desk so they don't distract anyone random.
