I think I'll count my lucky points first. At least I'm in three classes right now. I'm not in terrible danger of being a part-time student and having to go home for the spring. Good. However, right now I'm going to have to read a novel and a Shakespeare play every week, and see two movies. I'm also going to be on campus until ten tonight, because after sitting in on a second COVA class today (slightly more hopeful than the first), I still don't have a fourth class. Which means I also have to sit on the 4-5:50 one, just to be safe. (And, should I get into one of these, the small part of me still holding out hope for some sort of bizarre miracle with the fiction class is fairly certain that it'll only happen if I get into one of the art classes, because then I'll have to figure out what I want to drop, and I won't be able to drop the art class after begging to get into it, even though it's the class I'd want to drop.) No matter what right now, I have a schedule with three classes on Tuesday/Thursday. And no class on Monday/Wednesday until 3. Yuck. It's going to take some major motivation to get that sort of schedule to work out for me. But... well, I've got no choice. It'll be a learning experience.
Back to the good luck, though... at least the first art class let out early enough for me to grab lunch. Going from 10:30 until 10 tonight on naught but a banana probably would've killed me. Or rendered me entirely delerious. Or the latter, then the former. If only the wireless was working in here, I'd be set. I guess I can't have everything, though... (freaking UofC). I think as soon as I finish my can of pop, I'm going to head to Harper... that way I'm closer to where I need to be for class, and I ought to have better wireless reception. Maybe I'll be lucky and I can snag a seat in one of the other classes or something. Or maybe there'll be something exciting in my inbox.
(Nevermind. There were angering things in my inbox. Freaking professors being totally impolite in their e-mails. Glad I didn't get into your class now, though, evilface. And now I get to go hope that the other prof is nicer. Sigh! I'm not going to be happy if I have to try to beg my way into a different class alltogether tomorrow. But I've just got this feeling that's exactly what I'm going to have to do...)
