Voice Post

Once upon a time, evilhippo went in the wrong direction on the blue line and got bored and made a voice post. One thing she must point out, though, is that she is well aware of the fact that if one train goes by in one direction and you miss it, taking the next one in the other direction isn't going to fix it. She's just used to the trains to O'Hare going farther north than she needs to go, and therefore doesn't take them. The Clinton stop is not one she's seen often! (She also seems to have had trouble coming up with the correct phrase for "underground" or perhaps "into the subway". She also seems to be way more self-deprecating in the third person. But at least she's safely in the dorm and about to take a nap, now that it's a good hour later than this was recorded.)

They're probably less animal noises than they are bizarre and unnerving sound effects, at least from the way chocolatemoose reacts to them. I threatened to make a phone post of just the growly angry one arguing with the high-pitched innocent one, but we decided that the internet would never forgive me.
