On tea

So... at the Co-op on Sunday Twining's tea was on sale. So chocolatemoose and I got a lot of tea. (Well, four boxes seems somewhat short of a lot, but it'll do.) And I got some Lapsang Souchong tea because it sounded interesting. It tastes like it was made from burnt wood. (It's the "smoked" taste.) But you know what? With a little sugar, this actually isn't a bad thing. It's really quite weird. I don't know what to make of it.

Oh, and Shoreland? Omgwtf, please don't turn the heat off at two in the morning again. Whatever reason you had, it was not cool to wake up three or four times this morning shivering and thinking I had some sort of fever. It's why I slept through Civ again, even though I promised myself I wouldn't skip that class again. Grr, Shoreland. Grr.

I don't know if I've had lapsang souchong, actually, but I've definitely had genmai cha, which has roasted rice grains in it, and I really like it. XD; It kind of tastes like popcorn. Which is awesome, for tea. You should try some if you ever find any.

Without the sugar in it, it reminds me an awful lot of smoked cheddar cheese... without the cheddar cheese.

I think my new mission is going to be finding different kinds of tea. And now I think I'm going to go have some of my vanilla tea, because this is actually making me want more tea.
