Well crap. You know that point where there's just so much stress, and so little relief that you just kind of snap and can't look at it anymore? ... Yeah. I've got to make a presentation in class tomorrow, and though I actually like this excerpt from Notre-Dame de Paris (watch me be all pretentious with the name, wee)... I can't finish it without passing out. And right now, I just don't want to do work. I'm through with being serious and emo and... whatever the heck else I've been this quarter that hasn't helped a freaking bit.

(Yeah, I got my second Civ paper back today, and though I didn't fail it, I'm going to have to seriously rock both the next paper and the final to get a decent grade in the class. I'm not ready for this.)

Sigh. So, here I am, with all sorts of hyper energy, probably stored up over the past month that I've done nothing... and I have very little to put it into. Seriously, I considered making a facebook profile for Pirate!Hughes because I was that bored. (And the facebook in general would have no idea what to make of that.)

Someone tell me a story or something.

I just concocted a reason for Cid and Nanaki to get rid of the old couch and get a new one. By reason I mean a tiny story-like thing on lj just to mess with your head!. . . You may fill in the blanks with as little or as much detail as you want.

I see now should have made a stipulation for stories not to involve defiling my couch. (-;

Er... thanks... that's... lovely.

Hehehehe. ^_^ Where on earth did those come from?

I got them at my favorite gummi store in Freiburg, Germany, where I studied abroad last spring. Went through like three 1-kg bags during the five months I was there.

Lol, that's great. See? Story! ::wins!:: Did they come in other flavours?

From: [identity profile] flutingfrenzy.livejournal.com

Well. Fine then. :) There were five flavors in the bag--cherry, orange, lemon, lime, and cola. Other than that, no, but they also had naked gummi women. (Who were called Playgirls. The men were Playboys.) I brought a bag of the women back with me, for variety, as I also brought back three bags of the men.

Also, I feel it is important to mention that the Firefox Gmail manager is giving me instant e-mail notifications, so I'm not just constantly, feverishly refreshing your journal out of a desperate need to reply quickly. Or am I?

... I don't think I've ever come across cola gummies. Hmm.

What? You mean our discussion about naked gummi men and women and their various flavours isn't the most important thing going on with the internet right now? Well fine then!

From: [identity profile] flutingfrenzy.livejournal.com

They're a pretty standard inclusion in the assorted flavors in Germany, but yeah, not so much around here. I think you can get Haribo Happy-Colas in the US though, like in the foreign candy section of the grocery store. They taste like Pepsi.

No, no! I didn't mean that! I...I'm sorry. :'(

From: [identity profile] evilhippo.livejournal.com

I've had cola-flavoured hard candy (which I had a pretty good addiction to when I made more frequent trips up to Chinatown)... maybe I just haven't looked hard enough to find the gummies. (And at home, my grocery store doesn't have a foreign candy section. Now I'm jealous. They only recently decided to have a foreign food in general section.)

It's okay... I'll... I'll get over it someday. I hope... with the help of therapy. ;_;

I fully support the facebooking of Pirate!Hughes. If you were to do that, I might even be inspired to recover my facebook password and log on for the first time in a year in order to add him to my friends.

... Don't encourage me! (It's not like I haven't already tracked someone down to tell me how they go about spoofing fake UofC addresses. I don't want to have to ask the network people if I can register the address piratehughes@uchicago.edu. Though that might be fun...)

We have a page for someone's pet Welsh corgi here named Annabelle... Someone just found a friend who wasn't planning on making a facebook page and used their email address. So that would be an option.

Someone at Wisconsin has a total monopoly on basically every FMA character there is. (And their Hughes is friends with Optimus Prime, which amuses me to no end for some reason.) And the UofC has a lot weird people, but it seems like everyone's habit is making profiles for prominent UofC figures and people like Aquinas. Not as much fun. Though I hear someone did one for Neil Gaiman, too, since someone actually e-mailed him to find out if it was really his. (-:
