I am so, so tired. My plan last night was to go to sleep around ten and get up at six to finish this paper. I went to sleep at 11, got up at 1:30, laid in bed for an hour, got up and wandered around, talked to my roomies for a while because they couldn't sleep either, then went back to bed at 3:00. And didn't fall asleep until 4, probably. Then my alarm went off at five and I smacked it, and reset it for six, and didn't get out of bed until 6:30 because goshdarnit, it was nice to actually be asleep. But here I am, awake so I can finish that stupid, stupid paper of mine. And suddenly there's like, two or three inches of snow on the ground, and a lot more in the air, making it look ridiculously foggy. This wouldn't be the slightest problem if one of my roomies wasn't passed out on the couch for some reason. Because it's dark in here. And I can't really see the book so I can't quote anything else and... yeah. Sunrise isn't going to help much by the way it looks outside. For all I know, the sun's already up. But I definitely can't tell where the sky ends and the lake begins.
All right... back to adding footnotes and making things flow and make sense. I need to stop refuting my own arguments. I think I'll be complaining again around 8. Sigh!
[Edit:] Hey look, it's 8! And... surprisingly, I'm not complaining. I think this has sort of come together. I could bear to turn it in after I finish the conclusion. I'm going to go hunt down something to eat so my stomach will stop yelling at me. (That doesn't mean I'm not horribly tired, though. I hope this doesn't hurt my mind so much I can't remember my lines for French, though. They kept running through my dreams at random points. Rar.
[Edit2:] Hey look, it's 9! And I need to catch the bus in about five minutes but... argh. At least the paper's done. And I get to spend the next hour and a half thinking about le Rhinocéros. And reciting bits of it. And hoping that I remember all of it, since it's a freaking absurdist play and the dialog doesn't always really follow and... gah. I'll be done at noon, I'll be done at noon, I'll be done at noon...
