So... there was a ridiculous snow storm last night. Hooray, January weather. Though, I guess I should admit that it was rather fun to leave class yesterday to find a sky full of giant snowflakes falling at just the right speed to catch in your mouth. And I did walk along with my mouth open and my head up. Chicago snowflakes taste different than Ohio ones, but I guess that shouldn't be surprising. Then it changed over to rain, then snow again... then tiny little bouncy snowball things. Then snow again that continued most of the night.
At least I had enough motivation today (non-scholarly, of course) to motor myself out to the point and take some pictures. There's also some new stuff in the Random January folder. (I've decided that 600x450 was a little small, so I'm sticking to 800x600 for now, even though it's going to injure certain specific 56k modems that I think should be replaced with broadband-type ones anyway, if they know what's best for their poor computer. Though this does remind me of a terrible story I could tell everyone, of one of the most wince-worthy computer workorders I've seen, but I'm not sure if there's a confidentiality sort of thing. I'll say, though, just in case anyone ever considered it, that plastic grocery bags are not equivalent to anti-static bags.)
There's something I should be doing, and I think it might be homework, so I think I'm going to go take care of that. Only three classes this quarter now, so I might as well do well in them, eh?
