Thank you for not being out to get me like last Monday! (I could have done without the singing in the dining hall... and the elevator. But you probably know that deep down inside I kind of enjoyed it, so...)

In other news, now that I officialy cannot be refused admission to a concert ever again (unless I get myself banned from the venue), I've been... browsing. I have yet to be to a concert in Chicago, and even if I have to wait until February, I will fix this. Stars is playing at the Metro on the 17th of February, and Metric's there the 13th of April. It is my New Year's resolution to make it to one of the two, and possibly also others. In fact, if there's anyone that I should definitely, totally see live that may be playing in Chicago anytime soon (in a place I can get to), by all means, tell me. Actually, someone needs to find me a 21+ concert to go to. But there isn't really a way for me to just search for 21+ concerts. Alas.
Also, my art class today gave me an excuse to wander campus taking pictures. (You're all doomed, hooray!) And I escaped alive despite only finishing 1/3 of the reading for my English class. I think I'm going to like it, though. The instructor (she refuses to let us call her professor, since she technically isn't) is really nice and laid-back, but still pretentious. Good balance, there. And the people in the class are pretty cool, as far as I can tell so far. Now... tomorrow may be another story. I should probably go to bed earlyish so I can get up and go to the one 10:30 HIPS class, then Civ, then eat and go to the late class. See what I want to keep. No matter what I'm going to have to pink-slip in. Sigh.
