Toronto has a ComicCon. WHY DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS BEFORE. I am going. I am so going. chocolatemoose, you are coming with me, because there is going to be Elijah Wood and Jhonen Vasquez and lots of people from Star Trek and people you've never heard of and it'll be worth it just for the insanity (which is why I plan on going). This is totally seperate from my intense desire to get to the San Diego ComicCon before I'm too old to justify it as a not wholly-dorky act... but... eeeee. So much random stuff! And the exchange rate makes the all-access passes positively lovely compared to Otakon (which was my previous random thought). I'm not even going to ask my parents. I'm just going. August 26-28th. Who's with me?

P.S. The co-creator of Dungeons and Dragons is going to be there. becada422, you are now also required to come. To protect me. We can make fun of him. And his fans. Mercilessly. Hehehehe.

good grief, would you believe that actually fits into my schedule? i have soph training on the 31st, but... that weekend ACTUALLY APPEARS FREE.
i think you've just put dibs on my last remaining free weekend. good for you!

and, you're not allowed to come for just the weekend. i demand more! come for the week before it. or at least a few more days. you can stay with me. pleeeeeease? :)

That's it! This is clearly fate. FATE! Unfortunately, I'd probably only be able to come for the weekend since I can't afford to take a week off of work. A day or so before, though, I can do. Of course, only if you don't mind having whoever I bring with me along. (Namely my sister, and more likely sketchyheart. Amazingly, Amtrak has a rather cheap trip there that somehow does not take that much longer than driving (of course, Amtrak is always running late, but it's cheap). This also fixes my lack-of-a-car problem. ^___^ I'll have to look into hotels or something, since I 1) can't invite random people to stay in your house, even if I could invite myself and 2) taking the train in every day might be a bit troublesome. But weee. My mom actually is indulging me in this so far. Woo!
