Home is... just as hot and humid as Chicago. Which is saying something, since Chicago was really freaking hot and humid (plus I was on the fifth floor. Here I'm at ground-level and surrounded by trees!)
So, I got home, passed out on the couch for a few hours, somehow slept through dinner, woke up a few times to wonder why Academic Challenge was on TV and why on earth this one kid looked just like someone from my Sosc class (same first name and everything!) Then I wandered to K-Mart with my mom and stopped at the theatre to check my schedule... I'm back to work come Wednesday, boo. I need to look for someplace that doesn't involve food. I think I'm ready to move on from popcorn. I refuse to part with my free movies... but a better-paying job would be nice. I mean, everyone wants to go to movies that I have to pay for, anyway.
Wow... it's 11:13. And I'm really tired. Even though it's only really 10:13 for me. It's so strange to be suddenly home, too. I mean... twelve hours ago I was on the bus going to the airport, and shortly before that I was running around with boxes and being yelled at by box-guard-lady on the thirteenth floor (which is labelled as the fourteenth on the elevator wall (but not on the button)).
Ahh... I think I'm going to go wander outside. It's just vagely wet... it poured on us earlier. But it's evilly humid again already. Then I'm going to bed. Yay! Home! (Let's see how long before I'm bored again).
