First things first, Happy Birthday
sketchyheart! I still don't now what I'll do to celebrate... I was going to write something about Steve, but studying has been getting in the way. (Steve is a sword, for the uninformed). Until I figure something out, there will just have to be the obligatory birthday glomp. You're one year away from being legal enough to buy porn!
Letsee... in other news, I did actually e-mail my Physics professor because my mom bribed me with $20. He didn't e-mail me back, though, but... uh... that's okay as long as he answers my question about the grading, I guess. I don't really know what I'd ask him at this point, since I finally caught on to what was going on with the flux stuff (yay derivatives! I'm sorry for ignoring you!). Of course, if he never e-mails me back then I don't know how I'll prove to my mom that I e-mailed him.
So, what was I doing yesterday instead of studying? Aside from prodding
fma_writers for conversation (and they respond! How I love them!) Yes, I am unabashedly admitting in a public entry that I take fanfiction far too seriously somtimes. It's fun. So nya. I also stumbled across a rather cool music site as a result of going through all the neat indie stuff in someone's iTunes music library. It wasn't until later on that I realized it was the same person whose entire library had been lifted by someone I met at dinner two nights ago (he'd said it was someone on the even side that had a lot of really cool indie stuff, whose name was "something about celebrities and something German." I certainly wouldn't have connected that with "Pop Stars, Nein Danke", but whatever). Hehehe. This led to my discovery (among other things) of about fifteen new genres like "bedroom pop" and "gaymo" and "countrypolitan." And the stuff under "bedroom pop" was quite nice, kind of softer Postal Service-type (like Her Space Holiday, whose CD I might have to search out). I also ended up picking up new techno stuff from that site, which means now I've got techno that isn't remixed video game music. I'm broadening my horizons. Ooooh, and there was this one British rap/electronica group... I didn't care for the music much at all, but the guy's accent was just so... entrancing. It was like Lister's from Red Dwarf, which somehow works for spoken-word rap-type stuff really well... I dunno.
