Dear Death Note,
You can't do this to me! After the koala yummies and... no. You can only expect that I will go off on whatever theories will keep me happy, right? How come I always pick things up when they have a habit of leaving off in such awkward places? GAAAHH! You and Samurai7! You're just mean! Not quite as flat-out malicious as Samurai7, but mean darnit, MEAN.
However, you win major points for dragging me through 58 chapters in a little over 24 hours. Plus having me rooting for both sides. Darn you and your moral ambiguity! You also win for having me confused to no end for at least a quarter of the chapters. It's a shame I can't form a giant irrelevant theory on you like I did for Bleach (involving Urahara and lots of research... I should write it down some day). Ah well... until the next insane plot twist...

However, I think it's pretty obvious that what Death Note just pulled on us is a not-so-elaborate scheme. I mean... if Rem killed Watari/"Quillsh Wammy" (I'm sorry... Killsh Whammy? Uh-huh... suuure) then obviously that would have directly interfered with both Light and Misa's life-spans (and wtf with Misa anyway, her lifespan should have been over, anyway!) and she wouldn't have been around to kill L. Either L's faking, or that second Death Note that Ryuuku dropped is finally making some sort of appearance.
Me? Trust Yagami to really tell the truth about L? Never!!
