Yet another dream

Alright, let's see if I can remember all of my dream now. I just told it to my mom, so I should do alright. It's not as surreal as usual, but it was rather long. I was having some sort of party in a cabin in the middle of a park. The band boosters were there selling drinks and strange flavours of gum, but when I wanted to buy some there was no one aound, so I just left the money. I went outside, and there was a big line of people waiting to get into the movie theatre next to the cabin... or at least I think the cabin was still there.. it might not have been. We were talking to this man that looked a lot like the photographer that takes all our school pictures, and he proudly showed us his equiptment for bootlegging the movie (I'm pretty sure it was Bruce Almighty). He had this huge camera hooked up to a giant microphone, and I wondered how on earth he'd ever get that in without being caught, especially if the camera that shows the audience showed him. I decided that I'd go tell the managers, since I knew who was working there that night. I walked in and talked to one of the managers, and told her about the guy with the bootleg equiptment, and then walked into the show to look for one of my friends. I saw when the camera panned across the bootleg guy, but no one else seemed to notice. The whole place was set up like a giant stadium, and the inside was really dirty. I found my friend, and he was wearing a bright yellow shirt that probably said something pseudo-witty on it. I don't remember watching the movie, but a bit later the credits were over and everyone was waiting for the second ending, the surprise chainsaw ending. When it started, it was just this guy with a chainsaw chopping up a lot of wood, but the ending didn't seem to bother anyone else and they all got up and left. I went out into the lobby and decided to look up the weather. I put in my address or something, and this satellite picture of a bridge popped up. I wondered what it was, then I realized that it was the street behind where I live, where it goes over the lake (something it never does). In the picture, this strange helicopter appeared, and it had a strange red target painted on it. I decided to zoom out, and for some reason the map showed Russia as being close-by. I turned the map a bit, and they all had similar red targets on them. I zoomed in towards Chicago, and all of a sudden I was hanging from the helicopter and flying toward Navy Pier. As I dropped into the water, I realized that I was really supposed to be in Battery Park. I was floating next to this giant trash barge, but it was farther out than I could swim to, so I shot these flares up hoping that the helicopter would come back. I'm not sure if it did, but I ended up in Battery Park, swimming towards this pier. My sister was under it, and I explained to her that she should get up on top so that she wouldn't get washed away when the big waves came. The water started getting really rough, and it was cold, so we climbed up onto the top, where there was this frantic lady that thought her baby (which was made up of multi-coloured lettuce and plastic pieces) had hypothermia, so my sister and I had to try to keep it warm and we didn't get to dive in the water.

So, yeah... that's weird, non? I really wish these made sense once in awhile. I know the weird flavoured gum part came from the strange flavoured lip gloss that I saw at K-mart last night. But that's as far as I can get. I think the weatherman from one of the local channels might have been the one that gave me the picture of the bridge with the helicopter, but I'm not sure.

Hooray for my last day of work this week. I hope I'm not the only one there again, because that means that I don't have a chance to go home early, and I don't get a break. Stupid work! I have to work this Wednesday night, too. But the girl that needed me to trade is taking my Friday, so I just don't get my days off all in a row anymore. I've gone from four days off, to three, and now one, the wednesday, and then two. Hooray for 8 more days until I quit!
