Okay, I finally got fed up and played around with the style here. It just frustrates me that you can't make the background fixed in this style. Grr... Other than that... euh... at least it's different. And all Dante's array in the background and much less blue and stuff. It matches most of my icons better, methinks. Hehehe. And it looks cooler. Like I acutally tried or something. Well, tried with my very ameteur LJ-editing skills. It's so simple to fix the background in HTML, darnit. I could probably even pull it off in CSS. Heck, if there was a way to do it in C I might be able to figure it out (that reminds me, I need to buy that book soon). The only book I have to buy this quarter is for compsci, yay! Well, I have to buy books for Sosc, but they don't count as much, because they're less expensive.

So... err to talk about something else (I've written so many entries today). Letsee. I know, I'll bore you with what I've watched since my last entry. Err.. okay, they were both raw, which means I basically have no idea about the details of what was going on. I should know better than that by now but, ah... I'm like that. So... err, Xenosaga isn't bad per se, but I'm not terribly fond of the art style and I don't know, I'm ashamed to admit that I'm a little lost without the English dub, but I like to think that I remember the beginning of the game fairly well (having started it three or four times)... and it seems to me they've left out a lot of rather important stuff. A lot of rather important stuff. Stuff that would be equivalent to all the foreshadowing about Sloth in FMA and whatnot. So I'm sort of "... huh. Wonder where they're going with this." There's also an inexplicable Mech that KOSMOS has. And lots of random Gundam-like battling and shouting. Oh, and a very random Kirschwasser-type that has some kind of emotional crisis that prompts Shion to give her the charm from her cell phone.

And then I watched Gankutsuou, which despite its eye-killing textures is much more visually appealing (mostly because it's less bland). I really think that it's getting prettier and prettier. And I hate myself for beginning to like the Count, because he's a jerk. I don't like the evil manipulative angsty characters, darnit! But episode 9ish actually made me squee over him. I blame the art. It's the art's fault and I am totally sticking to that (Albert is still adorable... and Eugéne makes me want to play piano, and Franz is just cool. And I'm sad now because I'm afraid of what's going to happen to Albert now. Sigh). I still need to get caught up with Bleach. I haven't watched any of it subbed since 9 or so, I think. And now subbed is all I have because people abandon the raw torrents after about a week (which screws me over for Genshiken. Which is another show that had a great episode 9).
