Well... let's see. I suppose I have a better excuse today for not being awake, since I was up until 12:30 or so last night writing something that was originally only supposed to be 500 words and turned into 2300. Go figure. I should have known better. Doing well on the 500 words a day thing I guess... since this puts me nearly five days ahead. Hehehe.
Anyway! On to today, and how things look for the rest of the quarter. I'm slightly annoyed that my Sosc professor got switched, since our original professor is on leave (I'm imagining the health problems she was having over last quarter just got to be too much, and she hasn't totally recovered from the surgery over winter break). This means I am going to have to, yet again, adjust to how a new professor wants us to write. And she's got higher expectations about participating in class, which means if I don't make it clear that I am engaged and participating and stuff, I can fail the class. Well gee great. That's lovely. So, more stress on my end. And she's got a bit of a Spanish-ish accent that will take me a little bit of getting used to. I suppose to work to counterract the English accent my Bio prof has.
As for Physics, I am verily grateful that my professor plans to grade the same way the other guy did last quarter. Hooray for that! Perhaps I will manage to salvage my GPA afterall! Hehehehe. I will graduate with around a 3.4, darnit! I will. Maybe even higher. If compsci doesn't freaking kill me again. Grrr! Err.. but this is about Physics. I guess it's a bit more Geometry-like this quarter, which scares me because I suck at geometry, but I suck at proofs too and I made it through 150s so I should be all right... I hope. Oh, and the really fun part... this guy looks just like you'd imagine a Physics professor to look. He's got that crazy all-over-the-place slanty cursive handwriting that I didn't think anyone ever had and he's got longish grey hair and glasses and makes silly jokes (a different kind of silly jokes from my Bio prof). I really should have majored in the sciences somehow. I love the professors so much more. And you don't have to participate in class as much. Then again, I haven't actually taken any English classes yet, and some of my favourite (well, and least favourite) teachers in high school were English teachers. Okay, so my favourite teacher was an English teacher and the rest of the English teachers I was either indifferent to or hated. But I never really loved the science people.. but I guess they were (with one exception) more tolerable. See? This is why generalizations don't work!
I am supposed to get my camera today. I haven't gotten an e-mail about it, so now I guess that means I'll get it tomorrow. Even though I want it now. Ahh!
And I am trying very hard not to take a nap this afternoon. I'm going to actually do my Sosc reading tonight. A day before I normally do. That's right. I'm going to see how long I can actually do the homework right after class. Hehehe.
Oh, and the amazing feat of the day... the root beer I left in the fridge over break is not flat. How amazing is that? ... Okay so it's probably only amazing to me. But still!
