Freaking crap, and I said Chicago didn't get tornados. The sirens have been going off for the last ten minutes (I wasn't sure I was hearing them, so I went outside. Holy freaking crap rain and wind and lightning. I made it a few steps into the alley before my self-defense mechanism reminded me that going any further was a bad idea, and so I ran back in and actually jumped next time there was lightning).
I know my power's going to go out. It's been blinking on and off since this started. And here I was, a few minutes ago, going "Ooh cool, thunder and cicadas. I should go outside and read."
Funtimes! (Good work, Chicago, at least this is interesting.)
P.S. Something is dripping on me, but my ceiling is completely dry. Weird!
P.P.S. Still alive. I feel like making some kind of rambly entry about how I need to shape up, and how I plan to do it, and I'm also craving fish or fishsticks, but it's late and I should go to sleep. Goshdarn you, adult obligations.
