The sun is shining, it's nearly 70 degrees out, I'm only one print shy of what I need done for Thursday, there might actually be checks and balances in my government again... I got like, ten hours of sleep. All in all? Not bad.
In fact, watching everyone gathered around the TV when I got back from campus at about 11 last night was really quite amusing (and I'm pretty sure it wasn't just because I was exhausted from being in the darkroom for ten hours). They were switching back and forth between CNN and the Colbert Report, and by their reactions, CNN was being treated kind of like a sports event, complete with cheering and flailing. And at least one hug, which I witnessed as one of the senate races was called. Oh, and my mom called me to happily fangirl the fact that almost all the Democrats she was voting for actually won, including one guy she kind of knew, who's our new state attorney general or something. So, I guess Ohio survived without me voting. Which isn't to say I'm happy about that. Disenfranchisement is not cool. But apparently one of my roomies didn't get her ballot, either. So hmmmm. Perhaps the conspiracy is more personal than I thought.
