Thumb war!

Well, today has been... well, fun. But also rather weird. Between bizarre dreams, and bizarre weather (that probably inspired bizarre dreams), it's been far from normal. Oh, and my idea of what day of the week it is? Totally broken by going out to eat downtown. But oooh, we so needed that.

I also took pictures. For the first time in... forever. (Random disclaimer: the sizes are all over the place, and way bigger than usual because this computer has crazy resolution, and I only have paint to resize things. And I'm too lazy to do real math. Oh, and pictures in the dark are still not the best thing in the world for me. Which is why I take more pictures in the dark than anything else, really.) It's very bad that I just started the random February folder on the seventeenth. (Well, it might've been before midnight when I made it. So the 16th. But that's still more than halfway through the month!) There's the weird, weird dense fog this morning. (I had to wait to take pictures, otherwise they'd have been of nothing at all). And the weird white line along the horizon later in the day (which was accompanied by a ghostly barge that couldn't be photographed. Probably linked to the dream-gnome and A!Hughes problems). And finally, the amazing waves on the lake, because even though it was probably in the 40s this morning, it's definitely snowing and freezing now. Oh, and there are a few random pictures from Carnaval last weekend, where I totally refrained from dancing and instead stood on chairs taking pictures. (Totally typical of me, really.)

Apparently my photo habit has gotten so bad that solitaryjane and Skirtpants were worried that I was going to go out to the point by myself at eleven at night to take pictures of the awesome waves. ... which I would have. Just not tonight, because it was freezing. But they came with me, and yay, pictures!
